Creating impact beyond business

Community Engagement

Leadership, service and a genuine commitment to making a lasting impact in Mauritius.

Creating Impact Beyond Business

Governance is about more than compliance—it is about creating organisations that are accountable, sustainable and capable of making a positive difference.

Beyond my professional work as a governance, risk and compliance consultant, I am committed to initiatives that strengthen communities, promote inclusion and create opportunities for others. Whether supporting social reintegration or advocating for women’s football, I believe that meaningful change is achieved through collaboration, integrity and a shared vision.

These engagements reflect the values that guide both my professional and personal life: leadership, service and a genuine commitment to making a lasting impact in Mauritius.

Our community engagements

Treasurer – Kinouété

As Treasurer of Association Kinouété, I am privileged to contribute to the governance and financial stewardship of an organisation dedicated to restoring hope and dignity to some of the most vulnerable members of our society.

Kinouété works alongside detainees, former detainees and their families, providing rehabilitation programmes, psychosocial support, skills development and reintegration services. Its mission is founded on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to rebuild their life and become an active member of the community.

My role extends beyond financial oversight. It is about ensuring transparency, accountability and sound governance so that the organisation can continue delivering meaningful programmes and maximising its social impact.

Supporting Kinouété is a reminder that effective governance is not only measured by compliance, but also by the positive difference it creates in people’s lives.

Fam Lor Terin – Promoting Women’s Football in Mauritius

I am also proud to be the founder of Fam Lor Terin, an independent collective of passionate volunteers united by one ambition: to help grow and elevate women’s football in Mauritius.

Working in collaboration with the Mauritius Football Association (MFA), we advocate for greater visibility, participation and recognition of women and girls in football. We believe that football is far more than a sport—it builds confidence, resilience, leadership and lifelong friendships.

Through awareness campaigns, community initiatives and collaboration with clubs, players and stakeholders, Fam Lor Terin seeks to inspire more girls to embrace football and to contribute to creating an environment where women can thrive both on and off the field.

Our vision is to help build a future where every girl in Mauritius has the opportunity to play, develop and excel, while women’s football receives the recognition and support it deserves.

For me, this initiative perfectly reflects the values I strive to promote every day: empowerment, inclusion, teamwork and equal opportunities.

Aleph Events – Creating Meaningful Experiences

Beyond consulting, I also organise events through Aleph Events, an initiative dedicated to bringing people together through inspiring, educational and entertaining experiences.

From wellness workshops and personal development sessions to concerts, networking events and community gatherings, Aleph Events creates opportunities for people to connect, learn and celebrate. Each event is designed with the belief that meaningful experiences can strengthen communities, encourage collaboration and contribute to personal wellbeing.

Whether partnering with professionals, artists, organisations or local businesses, Aleph Events aims to deliver high-quality events that leave a lasting positive impact while supporting local talent and fostering genuine human connections.

For me, Aleph Events is another expression of the values that underpin all my work: bringing people together, creating opportunities, promoting wellbeing and building stronger communities.
